If you have an interest in preserving your heritage then come along and join Tameside Archaeological Society Limited. We are actively involved in planning our own excavations throughout Tameside but also support Salford University and other Societies in excavations. Excavations and survey work include Prehistory, Roman, Mediaeval and industrial sites. Membership costs £20 a year and we meet the third Thursday in the month.
