The brilliant Stalybridge Street Fest is back for another year with a whopping eight servings of the food and family fun event set to bring a menu of tasty treats from April to November for 2024.

The events will once again be fully funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for Communities and Place, which was awarded to Tameside Council to improve public realm, greenspaces and support cultural events across the borough.

Running since 2021 - with a tried and tested formula of family fun, live music and tasty food and drink – Street Fest has really helped bring out the local community and generate footfall and civic pride for thetown. The early evening event will take place from 5-9pm on the second Friday of the month, with the November date to be confirmed but it will move to support the town’s Christmas events.

April's line up will include food highlights and flavours from around the world from Spanish, Belgian, Greek thai and Caribbean Street Food like Gourmet Burgers, Halloumi and Burritos. It will also feature family entertainment in the form of outdoor theatre performances from Cali and Mari the Octopuses Cali & Mari the Octopuses - Artemis Productions.
