Ashton Steampunk group are back at Portland Basin Museum's for another Steampunk meet-up - this time with a Halloween theme! What is Steampunk you say? It has been described as imagining the future through the lens of being a Victorian! Victorian time travellers ready to head on an adventure. It is sure to be a spectacle and lots of fun, with an added dash of Halloween spookiness.
Organised by local Steampunk enthusiasts there will be a ukulele band, plus a couple of market stalls selling Steampunk clothing and accessories. Plus the amazing spectacle of seeing people dressed to impress in their Steampunk finery. Come along, take part if you want, and meet new people.

Can anyone come along?
Yes the event is open to everyone. If you are a Steampunk enthusiast it is a great opportunity to meet like minded people. For general visitors it is a chance to see the costumes, enjoy the event and maybe be inspired to discover more.
Is there a charge to get in?
No the museum is free to enter and the event is free. Donations in the donations box are always welcome to help support the museum.
