Join local historian Mike Pavasovic for a talk on one of Ashton’s most dramatic political events. Triggered by the death of Labour MP Albert Bellamy, the by-election saw a Conservative win and the first appearance of Oswald Mosley’s New Party.

After the talk there will be tea, coffee, and biscuits and the opportunity to talk to the speaker.
