All In a Mouse's Night

A curious mouse, about in the house, could lead to all sorts of strange, magical and fantastical adventures. Goofus Theatre present this non-verbal marvellous, magnificent, mousey tale with puppetry, play and heart.

Mouse is a curious fellow. The house at night is a playground for adventure and exploration. Mouse has always wanted to go into the vastness of space, a mouse on the moon is a great adventure!

Maybe a perfect wedge of space cheese could be found? Maybe a new friend?? Make a rocket and up you go! Easy! And so, where and when will this mouse go? Come witness the tale in mouse’s own show!

Where Do The Noses Grow?

A small world fantastical piece with play and puppetry…

Join us this winter for Where do the Noses Grow, a magical show combining play and puppetry.

One night Lucy is awoken by something strange bouncing around her bed. Could it be a crumpled piece of paper? The paper seems alive… but how can it be? Lucy decides to follow it to find out what it is…

And so begins a fantastical journey through a thick forest, across the vast sea until Lucy reaches the Land of Noses and climbs the mountain where the strange nose rose grows…

So…Where do the Noses grow?? Come and see for yourself!

About Goofus

Goofus Theatre was founded in 2012 and is a touring theatre company creating original pieces with mask, puppetry, clowning, play and music.

The majority of Goofus work is non-verbal and aimed at audiences where theatre isn’t easily accessed for various reasons. The company works with small casts of no more than four performers.

Goofus work in various performance settings ranging from festivals, under tents, streets, disused shops, foyers, forests, community spaces, museums, care homes, hospices, hospitals and conventional theatre spaces.

Goofus performers are very experienced and adaptable in working/devising very quickly, playing to all ages in all settings. Their skills are from many diverse performing. backgrounds including circus, street theatre, clowning, puppetry and mask work.

We believe theatre should have no borders. We believe access to performance is for all ages, all backgrounds, everywhere.

We believe in a theatre that is mischievous, funny, strange, moving, surreal, and fantastical.
