If you love the outdoors and working with your hands, Dukinfield Library offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature,contribute to a shared space, and combat loneliness through meaningful community engagement.

Join our Community Roots project to enhance local biodiversity and create a thriving green space for both wildlife and the local community. Through hands-on workshops—including foraging walks and willow weaving—you’ll gain valuable skills in horticulture, nature conservation, and habitat creation while forming connections with like-minded people. All materials and refreshments provided!

Sessions run on Mondays till the 28th of July 25 from 10am till 12 midday.

You can just turn up to any session. If possible please book craft and walking sessions, so we can anticipate materials needed.

There is no meet up on Bank Holidays Mondays as Dukinfield Library is closed.
