Jojo Hayfron
Jojo Hayfron is a Ghanaian multidisciplinary artist based in Denton, Greater Manchester. Working primarily in acrylic paint, his vibrant abstract artworks explore storytelling, identity, symbolism, and the relationship between humanity and the natural world. Drawing inspiration from African heritage, colour, and the symbolic qualities of animals, his work invites viewers to connect emotionally with each piece and discover the stories woven into every composition.
Alongside his studio practice, Jojo is passionate about using creativity to engage and inspire communities. He has delivered creative workshops for children and adults across Greater Manchester and continues to champion accessible arts through education, community projects, and his creative initiatives.

Exhibition Description
Spirit Animals is a vibrant collection of abstract paintings exploring the symbolic connections between animals and the human spirit. Inspired by the emotional and symbolic qualities of different creatures, each painting tells its own unique story, inviting viewers to look beyond the literal and reflect on themes of identity, resilience, intuition, courage, and transformation.
Through bold colour, expressive forms, and imaginative storytelling, the exhibition celebrates the enduring relationship between people and the natural world, encouraging audiences to discover the spirit reflected within themselves.
